Glad to hear that IMAX is adding more 2D screenings. I may be interested in seeing a movie in that format, but I'm less interested in wearing glasses over my glasses.

I see a lot of movies at our local IMAX, and with the few that have changing aspect ratios it doesn't annoy me at all. I just see it as a bonus for the moments that the entire screen is being utilized.

As for adding 2D screenings, I noticed this first when they were showing Spider-Man: Homecoming. That's fine with me, as long as it doesn't eventually evolve into them charging more for 3D. IMAX is expensive enough. Also, at least in Spider-Man: Homecoming's case, the 2 2D screenings were in the afternoon and the 2 3D screenings were in the evening. They need to mix that up.
