Actually...
Rather than Twilight, Stephen reminded me FAR more of Dracula from the novel or from the movie "Bram Stoker's Dracula": in those, vampires could move around in daytime too. I was more confused than anything else by Stephen...I'd guessed he was a vampire about halfway through the movie, but I didn't expect him to turn out to be the MAIN villain of the film while the Doctor, who's much more responsible for what's happening, comes across as more the secondary villain. It also begs questions about Charles, our supposed "hero", since Stephen implies that Charles knew he was a vampire all along. So...what, did the werewolf hunters just look away whenever Stephen brutally murdered another innocent to sate his unholy thirst for human blood? How could they go around hunting one monster, while palling around with another?
To be honest, though the movie VASTLY IMPROVED from the moment Daniel figured out he was the werewolf and Stephen turned into the villain. I liked the last Act much more than the rest of the film.
