Mads Mikkelsen has been cast as the main villain. Seeing as how Chiwetel Ejiofor has already been cast as Baron Mordo, I'm not sure who Mikkelsen could be playing, unless the below quote is meant to intentionally mislead

Dormammu I would think would be the main villain, but I'm not the biggest Dr. Strange fan, and don't know a whole lot about the mythology, so maybe the description may fit another one of his adversaries better?

^Yeah, I don't know either. Then again, I'm only familiar with the original Lee/Ditko run, so maybe there's another Mordo-like character who isn't Mordo that I don't know about.

Wow, didn't know about Marvel releasing (or re-releasing as the case may be) a collection to coincide with the Dr. Strange movie. That's great to hear, I hope Marvel makes it a regular thing for their movies.

^ Marvel cancelling their paperback Masterworks line threw me for a loop. I've been watchful of their reprints since then. Next I'm hoping for an 'Epic Collection' of Black Panther's earliest appearances.

First poster hits the web. I'm diggin' it. The more I see, the more excited I'm getting for this. This also sounds like it will definitely be worth scoping out in 3D.

Teaser trailer is pretty sweet. Getting a "What if Harry Potter were trained ala Batman Begins?" with a Hellraiser meets Inception for the warpy visual vibe. This looks to be one worth the extra $ to catch in 3D. If the movie is as trippy and high-quality as this teaser then I think Steve Ditko will finally be proud of a movie adaption of one of his creations. I've already got 11/4 blocked off for a vacation day. Oh yes!

Color me really unimpressed thus far. The Matrix gets Inceptioned and an Asian character gets portrayed by Tilda Swinton.

I think it looks like a lot of fun. It seems we're all past origin stories, but Doctor Strange has such a cool and interesting one that I think it'll lend well to a movie.

I also don't mind they've changed the Ancient One's race, as it's pretty much the most stereotypical 'oriental' character ever. Wong will be in the movie, and I'm sure they'll change him from the cliche manservant of old to more of a peer and equal to Strange as is the de facto version now.
