I can honestly say I've never seen a movie in 3D, not even Avatar, which I saw on a 2D theater screen. That's not to say I'm outright opposed to it; I've just never seen it in action. But going off everything I've heard, I figure that if they're going to use it, it should be an integral part of the filming process rather than some post-conversion hackjob used as a gimmick. Seems that not many directors share the same opinion.
