BTW, we watched the six episodes to Season 3, and the two parter with the Daleks was pretty awesome. So far though, my favorite episode is the one with Shakespear. There was just something so great about it, and it reminded me of The Unquiet Dead from Season 1. One thing I do like is how they are doing Martha. At first, I thought they were just going to have her replace Rose and all would be well, so I like how he is merely just keeping her there just because whereas she is trying to get his attention even though all he thinks about is Rose. It kind of sucks for her, but that is what I like about it. Oh yeah, I do have to say though, I hope I NEVER have to see the lady from the Xmas episode again. Not only does she look 50, but her voice is so attrocious. On the other hand, the spider monster was unique. Overall, I am enjoying Season 3 a lot, but I keep hoping for someone really bad ass to make an appearance. I mean Season 1 had the Dalek Emperor, Season 2 had the Cybermen, so now we need someone else that is just as menacing as them.

Yep Blink is an amazing episode.

Yeah The Master is The Doctor's arch enemy. He is also a Time Lord but his regenerations were used up until the Time Lords gave him a new batch of regenerations in The Five Doctors in order to help the Doctor out.

He first appeared in Terror of the Autons during the Pertwee era.

The Autons are the creatures controlled by the Nestene Consciousness in the new series' first episode "ROSE". They first appeared in Pertwee's first episode Spearhead from Space and later in the above mentioned Terror of the Autons.

Good riddance to Being Human. I watched the first episode and it was boring. It also sounds like the star of a really bad joke.

Oh yeah, I just picked up at work the Beneath the Surface 3 pack, so now I have at least 1 story with each Doctor (minus the guy from that 90s special). Right now though, I think I am going to start getting the Tom Baker stuff in order since I liked him the best of the older Doctors I have seen.

Awww, I really liked Being Human (I've already seen the whole thing). I'd say "it gets better", but I was hooked instantly. "So a Vampire, a Werewolf and a Ghost walk into a bar...." I had the same reaction. In fact, when I first heard about it, I thought it was a sitcom.

Good call on Beneath the Surface. I love "The Sea Devils". A great Pertwee episode, very representative with The Doctor, The Master, Jo, UNIT and Monster-of-the-Week.

The "Lost In Time" boxset is full of surviving episodes and scenes for Hartnell and Troughton, including what survives from "The Moonbase" and "The Wheel in Space".

"The Tenth Planet" will come out eventually (the VHS did, and some scenes are on Lost In Time), even with its final episode missing. They may even do another reconstruction. I love it just for the fact that they Cybermen in it are soooo different. The costumes, obviously, but their manner of speech is so weird!

Which reminds me, I really got to get that off of VHS onto my computer so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Yeah the open mouth with the words just spilling out was very eerie. Talk about a zero cost yet effective effect.
