There are also more clever ways to produce something based entirely around sex jokes. Look at the British TV series Coupling, for example. To say it's all about sex may oversimplify it a bit too much but it's a huge element and it's always handled extremely well.

See, I enjoyed Superbad so much I totally forget that Seth Rogen is in it...

Superbad was funny, hate all you want.

Jelly, I feel like you're morphing into some kind of second Kain.

To me, these days, random fart jokes just mean "we couldn't think of a joke to put here." Its the laziest possible joke one can make. And the people that find them funny are why movies like Meet the Spartans make money. Remember in Idiocracy where the #1 movie that wins all the Oscars is called Ass, and its just a close up of a butt farting? That's where we're heading.

Now a WELL staged, well timed fart joke is brilliant... but if its just there for no other reason than to have a fart joke then well... it sucks

Well I saw this today in 3D. I did not like it mainly for this reason: I had no rooting interest in the title character. Rogen wrote him/portrayed him as completely inept. The only thing he brought to the table that I could see was cash flow. There's no way Kato would continue to work with him.

Also, if you do go see this, save your money and see it in 2D.
Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power...

This was just bleah. Nothing I really hated about, but nothing I liked about it at all either.
