So in order to get ready for the new movie in July, I am rewatching the Raimi movies and man, they do not live up to the test of time that well. The first one is still by far the best, it has a good story, and some great action. The music is fantastic, but the scene in the hospital is so sappy that it makes me want to puke. However, it isn't as bad as the sap in the second movie, which really brings it down. This movie should have had Peter wearing the symbiote suit since he is so damn emotional in the entire movie. Not to mention he hardly ever cracks a joke when he is Spider-Man. The movie has some great moments though, and the battle on the train is cool despite how bad the CGI looks today (and how much there is), but there is way too much drama going on and not enough super hero action. Nevertheless, the best scene is when Jameson is wearing the Spider-Man costume.

Tomorrow I watch the third one, and to be honest, I am not looking forward to it. I mean, if I recall, it ups the drama even more to ridiculous levels that now that I think of it, the only scene I really do remember is the Jazz club scene.
