I like "Judgement"

My thought with "Dominion" is that the third film would establish the final link between the second film's fall of humanity and the original movies status of Man as just dumb animals

speaking of Planet of the Apes, there are two sets of figures that is being done by NECA. One set features the new film coming up, and the proto for Ceasar in war paint looks very good. Two thumbs up on that. There is also another set for the retro characters of old. Being wave 1 features Dr. Zaius, Cornelius, and a gorilla soldier. I can't recall if there is a fourth or fifth, but I would have to research that. I know it was stated that Zira was in a later release series. The retro apes will be around seven inches in height. I will post pics later when I search for it.

Gary Oldman dishes some spoilers on the new film:
http://news.moviefone.com/2014/02/11/ga ... -spoilers/

I wouldn't call these "SPOILERS" as such, they are more about the actual premise of the film, which admittedly we haven't really gotten hints at in the teaser, but I doubt knowing this info will spoil the experience.

He also says Matt Reeves's idea is to ultimately try to show how humanity wound up collected into these feral packs of mutes in the future like we know from the first POTA film. I don't get the feeling that it's something he wants to tackle in THIS film, but it sounds like a neat idea to see some of the origins of that.

Not gonna read that because it seems spoilery, but this is absolutely my #2 most-hyped movie of the year.

The Tim Burton film is the only one I can't enjoy. Yes, I don't utterly hate Battle.

and completely agreed with Alex. I keep trying to temper my expectations, but this looks and sounds SO good.

EDIT: Is it dumb that I'm getting so hyped by apes on horseback?

The way the technology is now some of it looks so convincing, like this could really happen. It’s almost eerie.

It really does. I wish I could get the lady friend on board with the CG apes, but she's in the MAKEUP-ONLY camp.

Although....I thought it would be neat...if this keeps going a while or if they do a second trilogy, if they moved so far into the future that it could kind of make sense to switch to the people in ape masks/makeup.
Or maybe that's stupid, I DUNNO.
