Yeah, usually it doesn't bother me but something about it in this movie did bug me. Maybe it had to do with the Holloway character and his attitude and actions and followed by the moping that they didn't find any live aliens. He really bugged me.

Shaw: Holy Chirst!! Greatest discovery in the history of mankind!!!! The ruins of an advanced alien civilization!

Holloway (in a petulant tone): Yeah, but I wanted em to be alive so I could talk with them. **Holloway then kicks at a semi crushed aluminum pop can while both hands are stuffed in his pants pockets and makes an angry spoiled kid noise in his throat.

A bigger picture of the elder Engineer that wound up on the cutting room floor. Seems he was probably there to really hammer home the ritualistic nature of the film's beginning.

Here's a piece about the chances of the sequels happening... sounds like everyone is pretty booked until about 2014, but it looks like Scott has projects to do until that time, with the Counselor and Blade Runner. I'd say chances of getting more are very high since Fox seems to want it... the only question is WHEN. I'll wait however long it takes.

Prometheus came in 2nd again this weekend (behind Madagascar again) with another 20 million. This pushes its domestic gross up to 88.5 million and its domestic gross to 181.5 million.

It has a second weekend drop off yeah, but I think its pretty impressive for a movie that the studio knew was a huge risk. I'd predict that its gonna hang in the top 5 until Spider-Man comes out.
