Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Seeing Batman so sad looking reminds me of one of one of my favorite Batman comics: "The Origin of the Superman-Batman Team," which is a favorite solely because for half the story Dick Sprang draws Batman sad 'cause he thinks Superman's dumped him and has a new best friend.



Any chance this version of Batman is sad because Superman won't be his best friend? I like to think this is the case. If the last shot of the movie is Superman and Batman shaking hands with big smiles on their faces while saying there's nothing more important than friendship it's gonna be the greatest superhero movie ever and a firm foundation for a DC cinematic universe.

I don't know about it being EXACTLY the way you're thinking, but there's a pretty good chance Batman's looking so sad because he's disappointed in Superman. I mean, I've been going under the assumption that the movie is going to be about Batman making Supes realize just how much destruction he actually caused during his rumble with Zod and how that's really not OK.

They shortened "vs." to "v." because it wasn't abbreviated enough.

It's interesting that this publicity image makes no mention of the release date. Maybe WB execs are secretly feeling like they can't commit to the game of release date chicken they started with Marvel.

I love the title because it's hilarious, but I don't think it's meant to be. That worries me. Also, David Goyer seems like a real dope.

I do like some of Goyer's writing but he is sounding more and more like a tool.

The title is serviceable but what about just Man of Steel: World's Finest? It's a shame this is becoming less and less of a Superman sequel and more of a Batman/Justice League thing.

Most of the Batman v Superman jokes that have gotten a chuckle out of me have been the "Batman 5" themed ones, but the Dawn of Justice subtitle makes me think they will be establishing the Justice League by films end.

I dig the title. It reminds of me of "Meanwhile, at the Dawn of Justice!!!" lol but whatever. I would have prefered it to be Worlds Finest: Dawn of Justice but it is what it is.

Has Goyer lost his mind? I hope he has nothing to do with Justice league going forward.
