My thoughts fall pretty much in line with yours, Mouth. Serviceable, better than some of the season 3 stuff, WAY better than most of the season 2 stuff, but not really "WOW! Totally worth the several months wait!"

I also totally agree about Andrea's stupidity, but not sure I do about Michonne's...I think the best thing for her at the point she was in the show right now, was to just keep her mouth shut. I think Rick is the one who should be blamed a little more for stupidity with regards to the Michonne situation...she lead them to Glenn and Maggie, and she warned them how dangerous the Governor was, and she lead them into Woodbury...and he's like "Get the hell outta here!"

Also, the only reason I'm cool with Daryl leaving is because we all know it's just FOR NOW...because:

Yeah, a great episode, a step up from the last couple for sure. Michonne even said something... and it was something useful!

What happened to Lew Temple's character was an awesome "out of nowhere" moment.

Also, I didn't notice this callback to the first season till I saw this. :lol:

Agreed on the continued stupidity of the Andrea character. Mostly because I want to see her just make a choice already. Choose to side with her friends, or choose the governor. Standing over him holding what looks like a linoleum knife is just dumb.

And also very much agreed on Merle. I love any time characters are rounded out and made more third dimensional. Making Merle a more intelligent, maybe more sympathetic, definitely more cunning character only adds to him. He and Daryl are the best part of the show, hands down. Followed closely by Glen and Hershel though. I've REALLY come around on Hershel big time.
