I've had the art book Pacific Rim: Man, Machines and Monsters for several months but I've just now read it.

It's amazing. I wish is was twice as big so I could have all these monster illustrations printed in a larger size.

This film follows the Gamera Trilogy/Return of Godzilla trend of having a pop song about the movie in the closing credits.

My local AMC tends to put one older blockbuster back into theaters every weekend, and last weekend it was Pacific Rim. Seeing it again on the big screen for the first time in 11 years! My final verdict: still the best Hollywood kaiju film made, and honestly it's not even very close.

Visually it looks so good, too! Knocks practically every contemporary blockbuster out in terms of visuals. The sets and CGI!
