this movie makes me smile. loved watching it again yesterday.

So watching this again, and right now as we speak before my two day rental expires, I can say I really liked it more now than before. As noted not only having a TV with excellent resolution (my Vizio 32" 1080 even looked good but not near as good as the Samsung) and a smaller screen, all the creatures just pop. I was able to more easily view everything and quite frankly it reminded me of old monster movies more on that format (probably because aside from G98 and 2000 I've only seen them on my home TV's) But the action was just far easier to track and the detail was spectacular.

If a sequel doesn't get made I won't cry but if one does, I will be stoked to pieces. I implore anyone who saw this to get it on PPV or Blu Ray and watch it again, let me know if you agree on the visuals being easier to watch, and if you have waited to see it, well you're in for a treat for sure.

Just watched it last night with a good number of friends and we all just gushed over it. Man i dig this film for more reason then just Kaiju and Giant Robots.

My blu ray of this arrives tomorrow from Amazon. Bluray.com gives it 5 out of 5 I think on both visuals and audio, so I know it will look and sound absolutely gorgeous on our 55" 1080p Phillips HDTV and surround sound. I cant wait.

With my 12 hour job and my gal getting brought to the hospital again, I have just gotten around to opening the case. I think I'm going to buy a new 4-disc case so the discs aren't on top of each other.
