Amazing I interview, Eric, thanks for sharing. Scott hasn't sounded this enthusiastic about anything in a long time. And it's so obvious that he has everything planned out too. I hope he gets to do more because he obviously really wants to. Sounds like his imagination is really being put to work with these... It almost sounds like he's rediscovering his passion for sci if and film making in general. The guy really doesn't sound like he is interested in phoning anything in... He comes off as the real deal. I haven't heard him sound this excited about a project in years.

So, I really liked Prometheus. The only complaint I had was that it was extremely predictable.

Prometheus beat Madagascar 3's intake on Friday and apparently the two will be fighting pretty hard for the #1 spot for the weekend.

I forgot to mention the 3D in this movie was amazing. The best 3D I have seen since RE Afterlife. As for Sci-Fi movies, this movie is far better than anything Avatar and John Carter could dish out combined.

Two of my friends did not care for the movie, but they also aren't really big into the Alien movies. In fact, one of them is a Space Marines person, so he loves Aliens (and Halo, Gears of War, War Hammer, etc), and I think that is where his disappointment came from in this movie.

Finally, maybe I am mistaken, but isn't the main room in the ship in Alien supposed to have the creature there in the chair with his chest burst open?
