Getting back to the topic of Star Trek Into Darkness:

I dislike the works of JJ Abrams, and thus would prefer a different director had been associated with this production. This being the internet, I express my opinion on the matter as though his hiring were a personal slight against me.

Rage.

Rage!

RAGE!!!

Now, some hyperbole suggesting that the previous Star Trek movie utterly ruined the franchise, in response to which I expect some equally over-the-top claims about how completely said movie saved the franchise from utter ruin.

STAR TREK WAS ALWAYS GOOD BEFORE, AND WILL ALWAYS BE AWFUL FROM NOW ON!

Meanwhile, during all this dumbass arguing, it appears Entertainment Weekly might have prematurely spilled some beans.

Y'know, it's really started striking me as odd that the title of this thread feels comfortable addressing the film's director casually as "JJ."
