From The Daily Mail:

I like Jor-El's new suit. It looks like Superman design.

From Hero Complex:

Just how heavy is Superman’s cape? Ask Henry Cavill, the British actor who has the weight of history, expectations and a blockbuster budget all sitting on his broad shoulders.

Cavill will portray “the last sonâ€

Hey look, the new logo is darker and stuff.

This made me laugh.

[quote]While not saying so outright, the new version of the logo is certainly darker and edgierâ„¢, with the red muted, the blue turned to charcoal, and the yellow gone almost completely in favor of more of an amber glow. Because when you’ve got a superhero who wears spandex tights, a red cape, knee-high boots, and a giant S on his chest that stands for “SUPER!â€

Wait, 2013? Last I read it was Dec 2012. that shows how much I have been paying attention to this movie.

Anyway, based on the last five attempts to do a live action Superman movie, I'll take anything that is actually good.

Honestly, I have not really enjoyed a single Superman movie when he is on his own. That goes for the 5 live action movies and the three animated ones (Braniac Attacks, vs Doomsday, and All-Star). Superman can work in a 20 minute episode, but for the most part, he needs to have a great supporting cast of other heroes to be interesting. I have never really enjoyed his own comic series either. I just find his own persona to be dull and boring. He is too much of a goody good to be interesting, which blows, because someone of his stature should be an interesting character. I guess it could be that I just find heroes who are 100% good to be uninspiring characters because they can never be tempted by evil at all. I guess that is one of the reasons I enjoy his battles with Darkseid, as Darkseid seems to be the only one who can bring out a darker side to Superman.
