Point being?
Yeah, Rami's first Spider-Man plays on the pre-existing and long-running themes of the Spider-Man mythos. That's a GOOD thing. When you start changing things just to make it seem different (Amazing Spider-Man) you run the risk of screwing the pooch. To tie this back to Fantastic Four, you said Fox borrowed some themes from the original film and the trailers look similar...I commented that it's because they're playing on themes universal to The Fantastic Four, and thus they SHOULD look the same and it'd be more troubling if we watched this trailer and it was like, "You thought you knew the Fantastic Four....THINK AGAIN. They now take on the mantle of superheroes not because they're a family and believe collectively in doing the right thing, but because they actually hate each other and their hatred leads them to constantly trying to one-up one another."
