Very excited about this movie. I've posted this thought elsewhere, but Rinko Kikuchi and that male co-star (forget his name) remind me of Nick Adams and Kumi Mizuno, and the hairstyle choice on Kikuchi's character makes me think that, just maybe, the evocation is intentional.
