The turtles look surprisingly good. A rather logical revamp I think.

Shredder, on the other hand, I laughed at for looking so much like a Decepticon. I can't wait to see an actor actually move in that thing.

The noses are weird. I honestly expected worse though.

Well I geuss Michael Bay was going for the most realistic look possible. Nothing too cartoony.

^Yeah, these are no more realistic than any previous design. They're textbook 'badass,' 'extreme' makeover.

Which is why the first movie was damn near perfect, they took the wide mouthed design from the cartoon/comics and brought it to life. There were color differences between the turtles, but the basic shape between them all were the same.

It ended with an amazing rap song that summarized the film!

Okay, they got it wrong about Raphael being the "leader of the group," but rhyming with "transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop" saved it.

Never really been a fan of the Ninja Turtles, in fact I mostly just despised them when I was younger, mostly because I loved Godzilla, and all my friends would complain about how stupid he was that he was just a "fat guy in a dopey rubber suit, kicking cardboard cities apart." while the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the "real deal" and were "totally mega awesome the greatest superheroes ever!!!" it really grinded my gears.

Anyways the new designs for them all make me think of Gollum, and the one at the top with the purple bandana makes me think of Devan Shell (This guy in the middle top left) guess it's just the glasses with the purple.

I don't know how you can not finish a 93-minute movie that has ninjas, solid action sequences, good special effects, a menacing villain, a solid story, a decent score, and good pacing...

Oh AND mystical fire-splinter!
