Unfortunately, that is not the case. It does take place after Halloween II, although I would love it if they dropped the sister aspect and ignored 2.

Well DUH it wouldn't count Zombie's movies as those pieces of "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" are not even remotely good.
