I dunno guys, I love the hell out of Goldeneye.
And I've never been a huge Connery as Bond fan...there's no sense of menace to him. It's pulp fun, sure. I get and appreciate that.
But Dalton, Brosnan and Craig are killers. You can believe that they've killed people and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Brosnan is the most suave of the three so I buy that he'd be the best at seducing the women folk as well. Dalton is just a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" and I love it. He's all about the mission, no nonsense and a little cruel. Just as fleming wrote him. Craig is essentially the same mold of Dalton though I think Dalton looks a little more like the James Bond from the books and public imagination (needs a nasty facial scar to be true to the books though) but I think Craig is even colder than Dalton. Craig's Bond lacks emotions really, while Dalton's is a little angrier, meaner even. Antother difference is that I think Dalton's Bond would relax at the end of the day and not give a damn about the job as soon as he clocks out, whereas Craig's Bond lives solely for the job. I imagine him getting home and just staring blankly at a wall until it's time for another mission lol
Dalton's Bond really is awesome because more so than any othe Bond, there's something about him that says he can be every bit as frightening as the super villains he fights.
My favorite Bonds in order:
Brosnan (the Bond I grew up with)
Dalton
Craig
Connery..
The other two guys
