The current cut of the movie is 2 hours and 40 minutes, which Jackson says will be the shortest film. (although there will be extended cuts of all of them).

I do have to say that I think it's great that they have been able to make each dwarf and individual character. I never thought they'd be able to pull it off so well visually.

Regarding this movie...I had a massive argument with my brother the other day. He's a big Jackson fan boy and a huge Tolkien nerd.

I was giving Jackson a pass and said...well at least the third movie will all be based on stuff after The Hobbit...but he kept saying The Hobbit book itself will carry onto the third film. I swear if that's true...I just, I just don't want to live on this planet anymore lol j/k. Why one book would need to be spread across three films just baffles the hell out of me.
