I'm surprised the movie is getting so dark. Considering Thanos hasn't even gotten to Earth yet.

There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Honestly, the new Avengers doesn't look that dark to me. Sure, it has dark elements, but all we've seen is a trailer. I think it's premature to judge the movie just based on that.

The natural comparison is Empire Strikes Back. Leagues darker, and widely considered one of the best movie sequels ever. Whether or not Joss is capable of living up to that comparison will be determined in a few months, but it would be a natural progression for the Avengers trilogy to at least try.

Personally, the hero stuff in the trailer is pretty dull. Our heroes look on in horror as the greatest threat ever (this time) approaches is something I've seen a bajillion times at this point.

That being said, this Ultron character looks wonderful, and I think Spader will crush it.

Yeah Spader is the only thing that seems interesting in the trailer, but again, I wasn't blown away by the Avengers' first trailer for the first film. I just know I'm showing up on opening day.

This just reminds me of what a great film Pinnochio is. I really need to revisit that film... *checks* Dang, it's back in the 'Disney Vault' and the Blu-Ray is going for $100! Screw the Avengers - let's get Pinnochio out of the vault!

Is Marvel going to release a slightly different cut of that same trailer every month until the movie opens?

The Hulk's 'red' iris coloring indicates that he is under the spell of Scarlett Witch, which also explains why he's clobbering on his pal, Iron Man/Tony Stark. Scarlett Witch has probably hexxed him into thinking that he's actually attacking Ultron. Makes you wonder - which side of the line these two Avengers noobs are going to be on?

Speaking of eyes...
It appears that Joss Whedon & the gang have gone a done a wonderful thing. If you look closely at Mark Ruffalo in that clip you will see that Dr. Banner has been graced with the awesome Bill Bixby/Hulk-out eyes once again. God bless them!
