My favorite thing is that Batroc is still alive...he's in SHIELD custody...but SHIELD just asploded...so..
I just wish he had been a bit more flamboyant/fun/leapt some more.

Just got back and wife & I both loved this one. Good spy/political/cold war/paranoia flick. Great action set pieces and strong acting throughout. A special call out to Anthony Mackie. He made a terrific Black Falcon! BTW... wife almost bought me a cute little Avengers tote/basket for Easter; (I talked her out of it since I have no place to put it, and it would just become a catch-all. Thanks anyways, sweetheart!). Anyhow... the artwork on it depicts the main cast, but also strongly features Falcon in the mix, so I am assuming he will join the roster in Age of Ultron. There are 2 post film/credits stingers, so stay until the very end!

SPOLIER:
Anyone else notice the biblical epitaph on Fury's tombstone? "The Path of the Righteous Man" LOL! Heard a few chuckles at this so there were a few other PULP FICTION fans in the audience besides me.

Saw it. Loved it. This is right up there with Avengers for me. There isn't anything out of the ordinary in terms of story, but the action sequences were superb. I loved the score. Any negatives aren't really worth mentioning. I also got to see Godzilla's trailer so that was an added plus.

Loved it. I was laughing with joy as I watched some of the action segments. It's also great that they're still addressing the "man out of his time" theme when appropriate which makes for some much needed light-hearted moments in an otherwise serious plot. The War Games reference in particular had me rolling! I really loved that the studio is using actor images from the previous movie throughout this one. Tommy Lee Jones for example. Did they need to include his portrait(and cut him a check too I assume)? No, but they did and those little touches are awesome.

Winter Soldier did for Falcon what Avengers did for Hawkeye. That is, translate a character from comic page to live action and make them respectable instead of what could have been easily laughable. Big kudos there. Actually, that whole interaction with Falcon and Cap was just awesome all around.

Also, this is yet another entry in the Marvel movie universe that makes Iron Man 2 better. Garry Shandling!

Except that I liked Falcon here and can care less about the MCU Hawkeye.

I liked it a lot. It had a better written script, better than the Avengers by far. I don't follow the canon that much so it was good I had a buddy there that does.

Captain America 3. I'm hoping we get to see Winter Soldier and Falcon again.

I'm still holding out a little hope that for Cap 3, they introduce Black Panther as well. Setting him up to join the Avengers in Avengers 3.

My wife and I saw CA2 again yesterday, I must say it's Marvel's best offering since the first CAPTAIN AMERICA (easily on par with THE AVENGERS, if not superior). The only thing that could have made it better is if Scarlett Johansson gained some weight and could act. ;)

Yes it was, but I'm not sure if that's Evans or not.

Do a google image search. The helmet definitely has open ears, it's just the stuntman's ears seem to stick out more than the real actor's.

Definitely the most well made Phase 2 installment, an improvement over Thor: TDW which in turn was a big improvement over IM3. I don't think I liked it as much as The First Avenger but still lots of fun.

My only really geeky complaint is Arnim Zola, it was cool he's essentially the puppet master of the movie in a way, but it was a shame to just see him as a bunch of dusty old computers. He's such a cool looking villain in the comics, and while it was nice he returned, it seemed like a waste of Toby Jones.

Also, if Black Widow can't wear a bikini anymore, why do we see her as an underwear model in IM2? :P

Saw it today. Was good, but Thor: The Dark World still reigns the best of the Phase 2 films thus far. It was better than Iron Man 3, but not as good as Avengers. Really, the only part of the movie that I found "more realistic" was the fact that the bad guys used regular guns and not laser guns, which makes sense since HYDRA was staying in the dark.

I admit, when they mentioned Dr. Strange, I was all like "YAY! Bring him in!"

Also, Falcon seemed soooo forced into the movie. Really, take him out and the movie really wouldn't change all that much.

One thing that REALLY annoyed me about this movie is the Captain America/Widow "sexual tension." In Avengers, it seemed to be heavily hinted her and Hawkeye had a thing brewing. And now it seems she's one film away from banging Rogers. I guess she would make a good reason to have Captain America and Hawkeye collide in Avengers 2.

I felt more of a brother-sister and/or partner thing with Black Widow and Hawkeye

I also think the Black Widow thing may not necessarily be romantic...maybe it is...but I also feel it's mostly Widow trying to get Cap's approval. From what I remember that's how I took several of their scenes.
