I watched Cloverfield on DVD with a few friends last night. I loved it just as much as the times I saw it in the theater, but there was something that struck me this time around that I forgot. When the parasite bugs attack the characters in the subway, the sounds that the creatures make is hilarious. WA-RA-RA-RA-RA-RA! I don't think it detracted from the overall effectiveness of the picture, but it definitely pulled us out of the movie, in a good way. We couldn't stop laughing.

Afterwards we watched Chasing Amy, and during the scene with Holden and Alyssa outside the car in the rain we kept expecting to hear the WA-RA-RA-RA bugs come out of nowhere and attack them.

Cloverfield Blu-ray disc announced: releasing June 3rd in the US, international in August. Paramount begins its BD rollout on May 20th.

Okay, so...

I just searched for "ROAR!" on iTunes to no avail. I searched under "Roar Cloverfield Overture," "Roar," "Cloverfield," "Cloverfield Overture," and "Michael Giacchino" and found nothing. The only Cloverfield-related thing I was able to find for download was the movie.

What am I doing wrong here?

It appears to be off iTunes for some reason. I have no idea what's going on but there plenty of upset film score fans who didn't get to download it.

Are we absolutely sure it's gone gone? I had my uncle look it up on his PC and it popped right up but on my iTunes... nada... and I look not five minutes after he did. I'm using the last version of iTunes 6 and he's using the latest version of 7 so I thought maybe that could be part of it...?
