Saw the movie yesterday. Easily in my top 5 if not top 3 Bond films. Top notch story, action, and cinematography. I loved this movie on every level. Top notch cast, I really can't say enough about how well everyone played their parts. There was both sadness and a great feeling of renewal at the end. And as others have said, the nostalgia factor was well played, just enough to make lovers of the series smile.

Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for the next movie!

It just felt a little...meh.

Don't know. I think Bond is like Jason Vorhees...if you make either too serious you're robbing it of some of iconic nature of both franchises. There's a reason that Friday the 13th Part 6, and Goldeneye (ok, Casino Royale might be my favorite in the series...but Goldeneye feels more like what a Bond film should be to me) are probably my two favorite films of each respective franchise. Great balance of serious and cheesy fun.

I will say that I love the new additon of the "Bond Family" in this film. My favorite versions of Q and Money Penny easily.

And Daniel Craig feels like the first version of Bond that I could believe would crawl through a sewer to kill someone. He's mean...not someone you'd want to mess with. Also, he looks old enough as to be convincing in the role of Bond...it's easy to forget that Bond supposed to be a man in his mid 30's in Casino Royale...he went to college and had a decent career in military special ops before he ever becomes 007.
