That second review is about what I expected after hearing about all of the editing hell this movie has gone through. I'll still want to see it, but I'll likely be laughing at it more than anything... like a Michael Bay movie.

If this movie is as bad as they say, I'll be so sad. I mean, I've feared that since Romanek got replaced by Joe Johnston. But I've been looking forward to this movie probably more than anything since the Dark Knight, so to have it turn out so sh*tty will just be depressing.

I don't know if I even want Universal to go on with their monster remakes. If this movie really does suck, its obvious from all their interference that they don't even know what makes good horror movies anymore... for a company that was built by monsters, they really don't know how to treat them anymore. Their script for the Creature remake was god awful and they just cast friggin Sam Worthington as Dracula... you think they would have learned to listen to what people want after Van Helsing.

I'm going to ignore the critics since they usually don't know jack **** about movies anyway and wait until I see it for myself to decide if it is good or not. I don't expect Shakespear, I just want a good time with some monster rampaging action.

With that said, tomorrow night I am going to watch the original Wolfman to get myself pumped up to see this on Sat morning.
