i agree for the x-men but not for CAP

he is supposed to represent, freedom, the symbol of america s dream....

he must remains with the colors of the flag ...not some dull blue and brown like "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!".....

I dont care care for the 1990 Pyun film but the costume was right ...

it works ...it doesn t have to be transformed like Wolverine who looked silly even in the comic books....

Just like Superman in Christopher Reeve movies was perfect....

I M hoping that MAN OF STEEL will be a great film, but they didnt need to make it better by making the suit dark blue, and putting that stupid texture on the suit...useless.....Why remove the S on the cape.....All those changes are useless....

I understand CAP suit for the war-time but in today s time...it should be closer to the comic....The Avengers version was fine....Lets hope they keep the color s scheeme the way it should....

It would be SOOOO dull if every super heroe start dressing up in black leather.

Spider-Man suit was so damn ugly last year...at least the re fixing it up for the next film.

Captain America is my favorite super hero that s why i care so much.

Since you're such a big Cap fan, so I can't help but respect your opinion, but I still can't agree that he has a costume that translates well to film.

I can see your point about the costumes for Cap (and Superman for that matter) having blues that are too dark, but it doesn't really bother me.

But I do have to disagree that he looked good in the 1990 film.

Image

I hate the "smooth and rubbery" costume look from the 90s superhero movies and I think the wings just look stupid in live action (I expect you to disagree on this part).

I also disagree that the Cap suit from the Avengers movie was fine... I just thought it looked too cheap and clothy like one of those costume hoodies you see at K-Mart. However, I do think it got the shade of blue just right.

He looked better in the 1990 film than the two 1979 tv movies.

Image The Evel Knievel version

Image More traditional, but that helmet! And of course the transparent shield. :P

I liked the traditional look from the 1990 movie, it was pretty much the only thing I liked about that film. But I can understand why some don't like the costume materials. As to the new look, the helmet is ok, but they need more of the red/white/and blue in it. And if there isn't a big white star on the chest, then it isn't Cap.

There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Some plot details... I like what I'm hearing. Who knows how Falcon will factor in, but I like the direction they are going with the Cap and Fury characters.

[quote]“We weren't going back to World War II. Cap cannot travel in time. So while Tony can go home to Malibu and Thor goes up to Asgard and Hulk can sort of ride the rails, Cap was stuck.

"So Cap does stay with S.H.I.E.L.D. because he has nowhere else to go. But he’s not necessarily comfortable there. As you might imagine, somebody who’s spent 70 years in ice, frozen, wakes up and has to fight a bunch of aliens with a bunch of weirdos—he is trying to figure out what his life is. "

"And just as he's given permission to let go of the past and to focus on the modern world, a ghost comes up.... With the Greatest Generation in World World II, there's a tendency to reflect on that period and say, 'Things were black and white back then, and now it's hard to know who the bad guys are.' 'We wanted to play on that a little with Cap being uncomfortable with the way S.H.I.E.L.D., and in particular Nick Fury, operates.â€

We knew Zola was in this, but this seems to indicate he'll be present in his typical incarnation. Also, we won't be disappointed...apparently.

Arnim Zola is one of those villains I care so little for I don't think I can be disappointed XD

Although I'll be ecstatic if they include Doughboy. :D

Me too, looks pretty close to the comics sans the domino mask..but that's ok because the domino mask is out-dated.
