I'm sure everyone knows by now that BBC America will be airing the final two specials the day after they're aired in the UK (End of Time pt. 1 Dec 26th, and pt. 2 Jan 2nd)!

Three solid weeks of DW for US fans like me! I hope BBC America makes this business as usual.

RTD? And which finale are you talking about? So far, there has not been a single Who finale that has been a let down.

RTD = Russell T Davies, showrunner for DW, now being replaced by Steven Moffat (Blink, Girl in the Fireplace, Silence in the Library). Although I agree that the series finales have been over the top, I can't say I agree with anything else TheMaster said here. But I'm happy that he's moving on. It's never good when a single producer stays too long. One of the best parts of the show is the way it reboots its look and feel whenever a new producer comes in. Can't wait to see what the show will be like with Moffat.

The finale coming up is the end of the "Specials" season, and the departure of David Tennant and RTD. "The End of Time" Part 1 and Part 2 airing in the UK and US at the end of the month.

BBC America is airing Waters of Mars next week. They showed commercials for it at least ten times when they aired The Next Doctor and Planet of the Dead.

I saw a brief promo for The End of Time, and is the villain The Master, or is he not popping up until next season?

Yes, Though I want to remain unspoiled (mostly) it's an unavoidable plot point given away in every trailer: The Master, played by John Simm is a main character in the finale.

The end of Waters of Mars was brilliant. It took every complaint a person has has about The Doctor's actions (with Tennant or the previous 9) and turned it into a plot-point.

Impressive.
