Really not a fan of the suit at all. Looks like something Joel Shumacher would make.

Well I don't see any plastic nipples so I'm not really sure what you're talking about. It looks like Green Lantern to me.

Hrmm, interesting. Can't wait to see the thing in motion.

With all the ribbed muscle striping, and white cataract eyes, it has more of an ominous villain's look. Hard to say without seeing more of what it'll really be like, but can't say I'm a fan. Looks very "made for TV" to me.

Speaking of TV, is he really going to have that big hair-spray and teased-looking fro? Looks like 70's TV star douche from Trapper John MD, Gregory Harrison. IMHO not really superhero stuff.

But again, just one pic isn't really anything to go on, just my initial impression.

I like it. Looks like Green Lantern, and the fact that it's superimposed with CGI should give it an otherworldly aura in motion.

Here a MUCh bigger image of the cover:
Image
You can see how the GL uniform kind of blends in to (or I guess out of) his skin, as if it were a not-from-this-world manifestation created by the power ring (you know, EXACTLY what they were going for). I like it.

NOTE - After previewing the post I see that the image was reduced in size, either by photobucket or here. You can still get a sense of the ethereal nature of the uniform I think.

Jordan, its fine you like the costume. I'll agree to disagree there. But how can you possibly justify the Halloween USA makeup mask?

That's like asking what kind of superhero would put on a CGI costume. I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be makeup in context. It's just a part of the costume created by the ring, and the filmmakers are using a combination of two different special effects techniques to create that costume (makeup for the face, CGI for the body).

a pretty lengthy Hitfix article from an on-set visit. Has a couple concept art paintings, Mark Strong's take on Sinestro for the first movie, etc.
