I can admit it's faults, but if you like pulp adventure throwbacks ala indiana jones, it's worth checking out. If, like me, you LOVE pulp adventure and you LOVE aviation, it's really freaking great! It really is quite a fun movie.

I'm actually quite excited by this news! As stated, I love the first rocketeer film and I've been hooked on the new Rocketeer Adventures comic volumes they've put out recently (the only comics I buy besides Godzilla). I really hope this happens and that it turns out well! I was disappointed that the orginal Rocketeer got overshadowed in its release by Terminator 2 and never did well enough to warrant the sequels they had planned (it was intended to be a series).
