Well that is really depressing. He was always cool and fun in whatever he was in. Guess I'll have to spool up BLIND FURY and SPLIT SECOND... along with a few other titles of his this weekend.
RIP Mr. Hauer. You always made any film better just by being in it.

There was something incredibly singular about that man. Even if the movie he was in was junk he elevated it just with his presence, and his speech at the end of Blade Runner has probably sold the idea of Science Fiction as an legitimate genre as much as any great science fiction author has.
