^UGH...I really hope this does not happen. I really like the show, but this would be a deal breaker

Well unfortunately, the inevitable happened. The show is ruined for me (not saying for everyone, just me). I really loved this show on CBS, and was I guess naïve that the CW would maintain the same level of positivity that surrounded the show previously. Some of the changes I didn't mind, but some of the more recent ones are just beyond absurd. In fact, though it pains me to do so, I'm hereby ending viewership of all the DC shows on CW, which is sad because I liked them more than many people did, and gave them more of a chance than most. I guess the good thing is that I'll have a lot more free time on my hands.

Ok. I am a fan of superhero movies and series. I have been watching and enjoying (everytime less) The Flash, Legends and Supergirl but it is not the akward lesbian turn what made me decide not to watch those series anymore, but the very core of the problem: time travel and the absolute misshandling of the consecuences of it. I have nothing against good stories about time travel, but here the "heroes" are trashing the timeline almost without remorse and displaying a double moral here and there. For example the Dominators and the government have a point about who is responsible and what was needed to end the situation, and the self serving "heroes" didn't gave a f... and instead of facing the reality of paying for their actions, thet simply decided to beat the crap out of the extraterrestrial force (that randomly killed the potus, when actually wanted the metahuman responsible for the time mess-up). The heroes did not considered the future consecuences of gaining an entire civilization as enemies yada yada yada... That's the final nail so i will be watching other series instead, like the Marvel ones, far from perfect but miles ahead above this bottom of the barrel scripts.

Flash might not be perfect this season, but it is still far better than all of the Marvel shows. Besides, why not just enjoy both? You do know you can like Marvel and DC at the same time, right?

The problem with Alex being a lesbian is how they dragged it out and the drama after. Plus they cast the wrong actress as Maggie Sawyer. What we have on the show is essentially Renee Montoya in the wrong city with the wrong name. (John Byrne, who created Maggie, has suggested Katie Sackhoff to play the character.)

Didn't like the all too quick resolution to the J'onn turning into a White Martian situation, either.

My only other issue with the show is that James' Guardian costume stinks. Especially the helmet.
