Giant Monsters from STAR TREK?

Postby Enshohma » Wed May 01, 2019 10:49 am

Any knowledgeable STAR TREK fans here? I'm gathering a list of giant monsters and similarly sized characters who've appeared throughout the various STAR TREK television shows, movies, and spin-off media. I'm hoping to post a more comprehensive list (I know there's more than just this starter set) on my blog in late July, the first of many planned articles.

LISTING OF CHARACTERS WITH FIRST APPEARANCES, ALIASES, FORMS, AND RELATED NOTES:

Apollo (regular, giant & 'energy hand projection') - "Star Trek" EP 31 "Who Mourns For Adonais?" US 9/22/'67 [unmade script ending had Apollo foster a half-human child with Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas]

While hardly a "monster," the mysterious giant Whale Probe from STIV probably belongs on your list.

And they're not Godzilla or even King Kong giant, but the original show's "The Galileo Seven" has a stranded shuttle crew menaced by "giant" humanoids. They're never fully seen but they're apparently at least 10 feet tall.
