That's a really WEIRD trailer...because there are all these Olympics references tied directly into it...it's...a little confusing in that regard.
But I like The Incredibles, so I'm hopeful.

While this was not as good as the original (I thought Syndome was a much more interesting villain), this one had its definite charm. And yes, there are homages to The Outer Limits, Jonny Quest and Godzilla!

I have not much enjoyed Pixar's recent films (I've found them to be depressing, pandering fare designed only to make adults cry and not entertain kids) and I might have skipped this one except I wanted to take my daughter to her first movie...
...I'm glad I saw it. This is the Incredibles. This is the Pixar I like. It's an adventure. It's fun. It's funny. I really enjoyed it a lot.
It's not perfect (saw the twist coming, and the villain is certainly not as interesting as Syndrome) but it's the most I've enjoyed a Pixar movie since...Toy Story 3???
