King Kong T.V. series in the works

Postby Gwangi » Tue Apr 18, 2017 5:38 pm

I don't know about this one. The show will not be part of the Legendary series however. Instead it will be based on the on the DeVito ArtWorks’ “Skull Island”.

Back around the late 1990s, early 2000s, I tried seeing "The Lost World" series, but could only watch so much. I hope that this show will not have similar results.

Interesting. Joe DeVito is the Legendary and Warner Bros. a year ago claiming that they based the movie Kong: Skull Island on his pitch for a Skull Island TV series without crediting or compensating him. I don't think that lawsuit has been dismissed, settled, or brought to trial yet but it looks like DeVito found a couple of production companies that are willing to invest in his idea for a series pilot.
