This was fine, fun, silly fluff. I saw it 'tother day.
I didn't care for the villain or his plan, such as it was and felt all that, and especially the weapon were REALLY underdeveloped, and sorry but the Sabotage sequence was really dumb.
But this cast is great together and Jayla was a cool addition.

I saw Star Trek Beyond. Like the true Star Trek 3, it has the Enterprise being destroyed. That is all it has in common with that third movie. Otherwise, it's a nice original story.
