Speed Racer actually seems to be getting A LOT more popular in recent years. It seems like a lot of people discovered it on TV/DVD later on and really dig it. Good for them, I guess. I haven't watched it just because I could barely get past the trailers without the intense colors physically hurting me. I got sensory overload just from the trailers (and not in the good way).

Cool Gaiking was one of my favorite "two in one" shogun warriors back in the 1970's. I sold the figure to someone in Japan for a lot of money if I remember correctly.
