Devastating. How can David Bowie die? He's no mere mortal, but a legendary figure.

I ending up staying up 'till the wee hours of the morning listening to his music, mostly songs from his new album (released a few days ago and, in retrospect, an artistic farewell). People have been circulating the video for Lazarus after the news for obvious reasons, but I'm gonna post the video for the title track, Blackstar.

Not only is it incredible, but it also feels like the final word on the deep use of science fiction and fantasy in his work.

^Well, that was a bizarre watch. I'm not sure if I liked that or not.

I admit, I only really know David Bowie for his work on Jim Henson's Labyrinth (he made a good Goblin King). I guess I ought to familiarize myself with his work more.

Sad to hear this. I was a fan of his work.
