There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Yeah, saw that. I'm afraid that the studio execs are going to think that they should keep doing what they've been doing which is exactly what they shouldn't do. Meanwhile, I'm completely Bayed out and with GotG being what it is, what TF *SHOULD* have been, I'm starting to take a personal hate to the direction Bay took the franchise from a decent, albeit imperfect, 2007 movie. As a Transformers fan I went to TF4 out of a sense of duty, and on the hope that with the new human cast in it would be different and that the focus would finally actually be on the Transformers themselves. It was exactly the same, if not worse than the previous movies. There is no Transformer characterization, only character quirks and Three Stooges' routines when they're not in combat.

I will not see TF5 in the theater. I suspect there's more people out there who have become numb to the baysplosions as well.

As a fellow long time fan, and having read more of your posts Alpha OTS, I can respect your opinions, and why many more have that sentiment. Honestly though I don't think about Bay at all when I watch these films. I agree that AoE certainly had flaws, but it was a vast improvement over RotF & DotM. The human cast (such as it was) was much better overall. The toilet humor was gone, and the new Transformers characters (shallow as they may have been), I enjoyed their designs and action scenes oncreen.

Still my favorite Transformers film of all time was the 1986 original, I also enjoyed the Predacons Rising recent film that concluded TF:Prime Their greatest asset - No Humans.

Although I dont have the hate for Bay like many fans do, I agree I'd like to see another director get a chance. Also I am still awaiting the hopeful one day all TF movie with no humans that takes place on Cybertron, or any number of multiple alien worlds.
