Cool! Thanks for posting, Avery! ^_^
Some observations:
- Wow! No wonder the trailer makes the movie look like it has higher production values, they're using some pretty classy equipment! I spot a Steadycam, a Crane, and even a RED Camera. The RED is what really surprised me, since I tend associate REDs with big budget Hollywood productions.
- On site shooting down the street from the Nokia Theater? That DOES sound expensive! Will part of the movie be set in Los Angeles (I don't think the series has gone to LA yet, surprisingly), or is it standing in for someplace else?
- Christopher Judge is in this? Sweet! A quick glance at the movie's IMDB page reveals that this also has Elizabeth Röhm (of Law and Order fame) in it as well. I don't recognize anybody else.
- For those curious, the screenwriter the camera guy was palling around with, Jose Prendes, has written a number of other Asylum flicks. The only one that sticks out immediately being their Horror movie take on Hansel and Gretel that came out earlier this year. The movie is also director Emile Edwin Smith's first feature, although he has had a pretty long career in Visual Effects - he's worked on lots of things, but probably most notably was the Visual Effects Supervisor for Firefly. He was ALSO the Visual FX Supervisor for Sharknado...
EDIT: Interestingly, when I check Firefly's crew page Smith isn't listed at all (Loni Peristere is instead). When I rechecked Smith's page, I now note that it says "Uncredited" in little text beside each episode title. Huh...
