I could see doing Tonka as an animated movie, but it'd probably end up as a wannabe Cars movie.

I don't really see how you could make it work as a live action movie.

In order to be a real Tonka truck movie it has to have the moment when you leave it in the driveway only to have your father crush it when he backs out

Well, I'll give them credit for one thing. The subject matter's appropriate for Sandler's mental age.

(Right, so it only says that his company's involved with making it, but anything with his name on it is fair game for me these days.)
