I enjoy movie Optimus more than I do the Optimus in Transformers: Prime right now. I swear, as much as I love that show the reason I should be watching it is a weak link. I'm waiting for him to lose his hippie BS and start ripping heads off.

Could be worse I guess. He could be Primal from Beast Machines.

Optimus Prime might be one of the worst protagonists ever.

1) His actions allowed Chicago to be destroyed.

2) He begged for his life when Leonard Nimoy was about to kill him.

3) After Hobo Megatron saves his life, he literally stabs him in the back.

Seriously. A piece of "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!".

So I watched this today and noticed a certain Decepticon that looked an awful lot like the Cloverfield monster, even down to the little arms coming out of the stomach. After some investigating I learned that Bay is a huge Cloverfield fan and added the Clover Decpticon as a nod to the film. In addition a poster for the film is seen in part 2 and the teaser premiered before the first film.
