Anybody catch this premier the other day?

Seems like it will have some definite sci-fi elements to it but overall I was pretty unimpressed.

It tried WAY too hard to be mysterious and not tip its hand, and essentially draw in viewers without giving a single thing away (the old, Lost trick) but it had none of the script or acting that Lost had and honestly, in the premier episode of Lost, even though things drastically changed over time, we had a pretty good idea of what was happening...

I also didn't appreciate how basically halfway through the show, EVERYONE started speaking super dramatically and it was like every line was this ultimate-dramatic piece unto itself:
"i want to meet THEM"
"we haven't told you EVERYTHING"
"how could you DO this?"

all delivered with gravelly voices somewhere between a whisper and normal voice for even more emphasis...

it got eye-rolling after a while...i'm thinking i'll be tuning this one out after not too long

that stinks too because i was looking forward to a Lost replacement...
Gills.
