Land of the Lost ended a few years before I was born, but as a young kid I saw reruns of it sometimes and I remember being literally terrified of the Sleestaks. I'm pretty sure that I also thought the dinosaurs looked utterly realistic. I picked up the DVD release last month and I still enjoy it. Sure the effects are primitive, but it's a fun, imaginative show.

Got Season 1 & Season 3 on DVD (OOP except in the Boxed set & I Still needed season 2) Introduced my 3 year old son, my 4 year old Nephew & my 8 Year old Niece.. they all loved it.

Always wanted a pet Alice when I was a kid.
Or at least Toy dinos that actually Looked like the LOTL Dinos.

I really liked this show.

I was pretty young when it was on T.V. I recall pondering if Dimetrodons REALLY blew fire like Torch. Man, those were good days.

Hanna Barbera's Godzilla Power Hour (which was a GREAT show for a kid my age) was on while LOTL was in reruns. One of our local channels was showing a lot of Godzilla movies (sometimes back to back) on the "Saturday Matinee" fairly often. On top of it all I got a Mattle Shogun Godzilla for Christmas around that time.

Needless to say, I was ruined for life :D

I remember watching this in the late 80s when it was in re-runs and I just bought the series reissue that came out at the end of May. I still need to finish it only on Season 2 near the end of the first disc. Oh well I'm sure I'll get to it someday.

What was everyone's thoughts on the 90s remake done by Sid and Marty? I can barely remember it but the dinosaurs looked just as good as they did in the original show IMO.

From what I recall about the 90s series [admittedly not that much] it was a respectable revival of the series by Sid & Marty Kroft and if it was available on DVD I'd probably pick up a copy.
