Funny how GINO burned so many bridges that we're seeing multiple attempts at Godzilla like movies, but no US GODZILLA movies. Im a also a superman fan, and I think hes in the same boat. Were seeing every obscure or second tier hero get a pitch to the studios, but crickets chirping with the man of steel.

Not to derail this topic but I think The Dark Knight has given WB hundreds of millions of reasons to get Big Blue back on the big screen ASAP. Supposedly they loved Singer's take on the next movie when he pitched it months ago. They have to be kicking themselves that they have no DC property slated for next summer (unless they can get Supermax/Green Arrow rolling very very quickly).
