I saw this yesterday, there were some bits that I didn't like so much, but overall it was a great film. I wouldn't say my favorite of 2007, but definitely worth checking out if you enjoy musicals and the sort of style Tim's films exhibit. I will also note that I was very surprised that Johnny's singing wasn't that bad.

I thought it was an excellent movie for what it was. The original musical is still better, but it translated beautifully into a Burton film.

It just came to my local cineplex this weekend, and they usually get the latest big-name movies on release weekend.

Saw it tonight and thought it was fantastic. It captured the dark spirit of the play while giving it a lavish visual style to match. Acting and singing were great all around too.
