PBS alert: I just saw this show on a local pbs channel called , which was basically footage of interviews with him from Who conventions and PBS station visits.

It was pretty enjoyable though fairly amature in nature (from the Myth Makers series by Reeltime Pictures who does fan documentary and spinoffs of DW).

Just thought I'd point it out in case it's making the rounds on PBS in general.

^It's lame when this year's set was called "The Begining." A better title would be "Regenerations" (The Master absorbing Tremas is close enough to a regeneration anyway).

I got the Five Doctor's DVD used a Fye yesturday for 10 bucks! I don't like how they changed the 4th Doc's final scene in this "Special Edition" though. Sure it didn't make much sense, but it was more memorable and thus makes it seem like the 4th Doctor is in the special more then he actually is... though I believe they did lenghten his one scene a bit.

Great, I love Survival. I wonder if this will be a "budget release." That would be good for the pocket-book, but since it's such a siminal episode (last episode, last appearence of Ainley as the Master in the show) it deserves some special features.

...but The Sontaran Invasion is a budget release, and it featured a 30 minute doc. I'd say that's about right, devote 15 minutes the the making of Survival, 5 minutes to Ainley, and then 10 minutes to the end of the original series of Doctor Who.

I wonder when we'll get it in the states, for that matter; I wonder when we'll get "New Beginings."

You know, if I had my way we would have had Terror of the Autons, Deadly Assassin, Keeper of Traken, Logopolis, Castravalva, and Survival as the Ultimate Master Set.

I'm wondering if Survival will be the DVD which features the winners of a competition set in a DWM issue a few months ago will get to record their own commentary (presumably alongside the regular commentary)...
