Finally saw this the other night. BLOWN... THE... HELL... AWAY. My girlfriend that loves all kinds of fairy tales and what not loved it even MORE. AWESOME AWESOME. Acting, SPFX, framing, screenplay, Del Toro's direction... everything was top notch in this movie... some nice gore and cool creatures as well! I'll be buying it for sure.

This is the first Del Toro movie I've seen that I've been impressed with. I always knew the guy had talent, but I never felt he had a project that he could show it with... but Pan's Labrynth IS that project. He proves himself as a wonderful story teller and master creator. I saw Mimic, thought it sucked. Saw Blade II and thought it sucked (terrible music too!). I could always tell there was something more about this guy, and I've finally seen it in this film.

Guilermo Del Toro (coolest name ever?) has made me a believer.
