I agree with you 100% Sparkie...I remember seeing the suits as well (well, for Yonggary) and loving it! I was so disappointed when they decided to go with CGI strictly.

So to clarify, the DVD release "Reptilian" is the 2001 Yonggary upgrade with "improved" SFX?

Obviously a very loose interpretation of the word "improved"!

BTW, somewhere in aback issue of the British sci-fi mag SFX, there's a photo of two Yonggary suits, I'll try and dig it out and scan.

I'm beginning to wonder whether the suitmation effect might have actually been better than the really awful CGI.
